Details

Chainsaws are among the most common power tools on job sites and at home — and also among the most dangerous when used incorrectly. At Safety Guys, our Chainsaw Safety course gives workers the hands-on skills and confidence they need to operate chainsaws safely and effectively.

This training covers kickback prevention, proper cutting techniques, maintenance basics, PPE requirements, and real-world hazard awareness. Whether you work in construction, landscaping, forestry, or maintenance, this course is designed to help you stay safe and in control every time you start the saw.

Through a combination of classroom learning and practical cutting exercises, you’ll learn how to recognize hazards, maintain your chainsaw, and work safely with small calliper trees, brush, and demolition materials such as skids.
ON SITE REQUIREMENTS
  • Chainsaws and materials to cut
  • CSA approved steel toed-boots
  • Chaps, gloves and headgear
  • Dress for the weather
