THE Details

Delivered in partnership with the Canadian Red Cross, our Emergency First Aid & CPR course is a practical, one-day option for workplaces that require basic first aid coverage. It’s taught by the same Safety Guys instructors who deliver our construction and industrial safety training – so we connect first aid skills to real job-site incidents, not just classroom examples.

This course is ideal for lower-risk workplaces, smaller crews, or employers who need a recognized first aid certification that aligns with worker safety and insurance expectations.
What first aid training does your business need?
All businesses in Ontario covered by the WSIA must provide first aid training to their employees. The required training depends on the number of employees per shift:
  • For workplaces with five or fewer people working on any one shift, at least one person must have an emergency first aid certificate.
  • For workplaces with six or more people working on any shift, at least one person must have a standard first aid certificate.

Small class sizes – guaranteed:
As with all Safety Guys training, we prioritize small class sizes and set a minimum of four participants, so once a course is scheduled, it runs – no last-minute cancellations and no overcrowded classrooms.
