THE Details

Skills fade when they’re not used. Confidence fades even faster. That’s why our Canadian Red Cross First Aid & CPR Recertification courses exist – to keep your training sharp, current, and trusted. We recertify valid Red Cross certifications, ensuring what you hold is recognized, credible, and up to date.

This course is a deliberate reset. You revisit the skills that matter most, challenge assumptions, and align your response with the latest Red Cross guidelines. The goal isn’t to relearn everything – it’s to strengthen what you already know so that when an emergency happens, your response is instinctive, not hesitant.

Recertification respects your time. It’s shorter, more focused, and built for working professionals who can’t afford to step away longer than necessary, but won’t compromise on quality.

Because when something goes wrong, being almost ready isn’t enough.

Small class sizes – guaranteed:
As with all Safety Guys training, we prioritize small class sizes and set a minimum of four participants, so once a course is scheduled, it runs – no last-minute cancellations and no overcrowded classrooms.

Duration & Delivery

Recertification Requirements
  • Certification must still be valid at the time of the course
  • Standard First Aid may only be recertified once
  • Emergency First Aid and Marine First Aid are not eligible for recertification
  • We cannot recertify another provider’s First Aid certification
  • We can recertify CPR from another provider
  • Original certification card is required for verification
Certification
  • 3-year certification in Standard First Aid & CPR
  • Issued at CPR Level A or C
  • Digital certificate provided upon successful completion

Recertification
  • CPR Level A: 7 hours in-class
  • CPR Level C: 7.5 hours in-class
Additional time for breaks and a larger class size adds a minimum of one hour to the total teaching duration.
