WORKING AT HEIGHTS
REFRESHER TRAINING: 2018
Mandatory Working at Heights training came into effect on April 1, 2015. As of April, 2018 many of you will be require the 4 hour refresher course. You must have a copy of your MOL WAH card or your MOL student number to participate. RIGGING & HOISTING
Whether you work with overhead cranes, tower cranes or bucket trucks, our new rigging and hoisting course will provide you with the information required to work safely as a rigger. Our full day course provides students with instruction on the safe operating procedures for rigging and hoisting including legislation, roles and responsibilities, safe practices and procedures, Hazards, capacity, hardware, inspections, communication, lifting and landing practices are some of the elements discussed.

SCISSOR LIFT & GENIE BOOM
This has proven to be one of our most popular courses and we now offer training every three weeks in Kingston. Learn how to operate a Scissor Lift and Genie Boom safely and enjoy the many advantages this equipment can offer on the job site. OHSA Regulations state that supervisors must receive training in their responsibilities within one week of starting their role at the workplace. This is a course we have been wanting to offer for a long time, but proper skid steer training requires land disturbance. We are very fortunate to have an awesome landlord who has agreed to let us use the empty property around our Kingston location to run the practical sessions crucial to implementing effective skid steer training. Our experienced trainers will show you how to become a safer operator through theory training that covers the regulations and operating principals and practical training that will provide students with experience on track and wheel base loaders. Effective June 15, 2010, employers must proactively prevent and control the risk of workplace violence and harassment. This includes providing education and information for all employees.

ASBESTOS WORKER 1 &2
We're proud to introduce our full day course for workers involved with Type 1 & Type 2 asbestos work. Topics covered include identification, health risks, ACM's (asbestos containing materials), equipment, and O.Reg 278/05. During the practical portion, students will learn how to properly construct an enclosure. Respirator fitting is also provided. Call us for details.
