THE Details

Delivered in partnership with the Canadian Red Cross, our Standard First Aid & CPR course is taught by the same instructors who deliver our construction and industrial safety training. First aid is connected to real job-site hazards and incidents, not taught in isolation.

This comprehensive two-day course is ideal for workers who require certification for work, as well as those who want the confidence to respond to emergencies on the job or at home.
What first aid training does your business need?
All businesses in Ontario covered by the WSIA must provide first aid training to their employees. The required training depends on the number of employees per shift:
  • For workplaces with five or fewer people working on any one shift, at least one person must have an emergency first aid certificate.
  • For workplaces with six or more people working on any shift, at least one person must have a standard first aid certificate.

Small class sizes – guaranteed:
As with all Safety Guys training, we prioritize small class sizes and set a minimum of four participants, so once a course is scheduled, it runs – no last-minute cancellations and no overcrowded classrooms.
