The Safety Direct HOT WORK energy-absorbing lanyard—also known as a shock-absorbing lanyard—is specially designed for welding, grinding, and other high-heat environments.
With fire-resistant Kevlar® webbing and a durable energy absorber, it offers reliable fall protection where sparks and heat make standard lanyards unsafe.
The snap hook nearest the energy absorber attaches to the dorsal (back) D-ring of the harness, while the opposite end connects to a secure anchor point.
