EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW

ABOUT YOUR SAFETY GUYS

THE SAFETY GUYS DIFFERENCE:
For the past ten years our mission has been simple - to put our clients first. Our clients are much more than a company name to us. They are composed of people with different training needs and different learning styles. We like to think that we train people - not topics.

We are grateful for your trust in us and will ensure that you receive the best value for your training dollars through an instructor-led delivery style designed to be accessible to all adult learners. We pledge to do our best to "not be boring" - to be interesting, motivating, engaging. We want you and your employees to feel excited, confident, and invested in your own workplace safety, for that is how safety truly becomes successful.

April, 2017 officially marks our ten year anniversary and we could not be more excited and more proud of the progress this company has taken. After many years operating as a mobile unit we opened our first "bricks and mortar" location at 30 Steve Fonyo Drive Unit 200-1 in Kingston i
n October, 2015. In June, 2016 we added another 1600 sf of training space that is dedicated to Forklift, Scissor lift, Asbestos Worker 1 &2 and Confined Space training. Our training centre allows us to offer our clients and students a comfortable learning environment and additional services.

Private training at your location or job site are also available across Eastern Ontario with three dedicated trainers ready to assist you.

In February, 2017 we opened our second location in Belleville! We are so honoured by the support we have received from workers across Eastern Ontario, we thank all of our clients and look forward to many successful years together.

TRAINING MATERIAL:
We develop and produce our own training material that meets and exceeds Ministry of Labour regulations and includes the best and latest industry information and government regulations. We are willing to work with you to further customize your training by including company specific policies and procedures.  When a course calls for practical training, such as Forklift or Working at Heights, we do just that, providing in-depth, hands-on instruction on your equipment or ours.

All students are supplied with a manual to keep for future reference. Successful participants also receive a laminated walled card on the day of training, a theory and/or practical test and a pdf wall certificate (upon request) that can be emailed to the company.

WORKING WITH SMALL BUSINESS:
As small business owners ourselves we completely understand your needs and frustrations when it comes to staying compliant with safety regulations. We do our best to keep pricing as affordable as possible to eliminate some of those barriers to compliance. We try to accommodate every job-seeker who needs training, especially if that helps secure a job. Our young people and entrepreneurs are crucial to the continued growth and success of our country.

Training can be provided at your workplace at a time and day that suits your scheduling best from early morning through to the night shift. You may also choose to join one one of our public courses. Visit the "Register Here!" page for more details.

VETERANS DISCOUNT:
In recognition of the service they have given us, we are pleased to offer our military veterans an unlimited 15% discount on tuition as they transition into new careers.
