Sadly, this exposure leads to over 2,000 diagnoses of severe and often fatal diseases such as mesothelioma and lung cancer. As a result, asbestos has garnered the unfortunate distinction of being the leading cause of workplace-related deaths.
The Safety Guys Asbestos Worker 1 & 2 course equips workers with the knowledge to identify potential asbestos-containing materials (ACM) and safeguard themselves against inadvertent exposure. Participants will also learn the proper procedures for the safe removal of small quantities of ACM, as defined by Type 1 and 2 operations. |
