Details

**In the USA there is an exemption for trades people carrying dangerous goods to be used on a daily bases for their work.
This exemption is known as "Materials of Trade Exemptions."

In Canada we do not have the same section in our regulations however there are a number of exemptions in the regulations that can be used by trades people who are transporting dangerous goods on a daily basis. For example: refrigeration technicians, painters, welders, large machinery operators, pavers, plumbers, companies supplying and delivering dangerous goods to the construction trades, etc

This course covers all of the exemptions for trades currently available in the regulations as well as it explains how the Transportation of Dangerous goods regulations could affect trades personnel.

The course is approximately 2 hours long and includes a copy of the presentation, handouts relative to the course and ongoing consultation.
Our Instructor
David Brunton : Owner and trainer, Davco Consultants

David has been training Transportation of Dangerous Goods since 1989. David has an impressive background in this field including: being appointed as a Transport Canada Dangerous Good Federal inspector for the province of Ontario; MTO Inspector of dangerous goods and commercial vehicles; Ontario representative on the Transport Canada Federal/Provincial/Territorial committee on the re-writing of the dangerous goods regulations into clear language.

Davco's training material is registered and approved by the MOE under the OETC umbrella for courses in Transportation of Dangerous Goods (ID: 877).
"Just wanted to say, as one of the participants, that Dave was one of the best trainers I  have had the pleasure of being trained by.

The consensus was the same will all participants, so for that thank you. Can be a very dry subject without a great presenter.!!!!"
