Details

Falls remain one of the leading causes of workplace injuries across Canada, and many of these incidents are preventable with the right training and equipment knowledge. Our Industrial Fall Protection course is built on the solid foundation of our CPO-approved Working at Heights program, but tailored specifically for workers in industrial and non-construction environments.

This training covers the safe use of all major forms of fall protection, including:
  • Travel restraint systems
  • Fall restricting systems
  • Fall arrest systems
  • Guardrails and physical barriers
  • Access equipment such as MEWPs, forklifts, platforms, and ladders

Workers learn how to plan, protect, and prepare themselves and their work areas through hazard identification, equipment inspection, anchor point selection, and safe use of fall protection systems. The course also addresses same-surface slips, trips, and falls—one of the most common sources of injury in industrial settings.

Using practical instruction and real-world examples, this course helps workers understand their responsibilities, prevent incidents, and apply fall protection techniques confidently and correctly. Training aligns with OHSA requirements and industry best practices to support employers in meeting due diligence.
