THE Details

Our Workplace Violence and Harassment Training is designed to help workers understand their legal responsibilities under Ontario’s OHSA and the Workplace Violence and Harassment Regulation (O. Reg. 297/13). This course focuses on the duties of employees, while also highlighting the additional obligations supervisors and employers must meet to stay fully compliant with current laws.

If this topic is new to you, our goal is to help you recognize what a respectful, inclusive workplace looks like - and how you can play an active role in creating it.
  • Participants learn how to support coworkers, respond appropriately to concerning behaviour, and contribute to a safer work environment.
  • You’ll learn how to distinguish between harassment, discrimination, and inappropriate conduct, and gain a clear understanding of the legal protections in place through Ontario’s anti-discrimination and workplace violence policies.

We also address difficult but necessary subjects, including workplace violence, sexual harassment, prevention strategies, reporting procedures, and how workers can help stop harmful behaviour before it escalates.
