Chainsaw Safety: Our combination of classroom and hands-on instruction will get you the training you need to stay compliant when working with small calliper trees, brush, and demo of job sites material such as skids. You will  learn how to recognize hazards, maintain your chainsaw and work safely.

• CSA approved steel toed-boots
• Work pants
• Dress for the weather 

How long is this course?

3.5 hours of theory followed by practical training. 
The final course time will depend on the number of enrolled students and their levels of experience.

Who should take this course​?

Chainsaws are one of the most widely used power tools at home and in the workplace. They also have the potential to be among the most lethal. Whether it be the weekend warrior cutting firewood or a  worker performing construction or maintenance tasks, proper personal protective equipment (PPE), training and technique are the keys to preventing injuries.
