Our working at Heights course has been designed to include all aspects of fall prevention - from the ground up. This course has been approved by the Chief Prevention Officer of the Ontario Ministry of Labour.
Working At Heights is mandatory training for workers in the construction industry: http://www.labour.gov.on.ca/english/hs/topics/heights.php What is considered "construction?" Under the Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA), “construction” is defined to include erection, alteration, repair, dismantling, demolition, structural maintenance, painting, land clearing, earth moving, grading, excavating, trenching, digging, boring, drilling, blasting or concreting, the installation of any machinery or plant, and any work or undertaking in connection with a project (excluding any work or undertaking underground in a mine). As of April 1, 2015, certain workers will need to complete a working at heights training program that has been approved by the Chief Prevention Officer before they can work at heights. The new training requirement is for workers on construction projects who use any of the following methods of fall protection:
Working at Heights Module 1: Theory - 3.5 hours Working at Heights Module 2: Practical - 4.0 hours Working at Heights REFRESHER: Consists of Module 2 training - 4.0 hours Workplace environments, such as warehouse, offices and retail outlets, that do not require training on all of these components, can opt to take our Fall Arrest or Ladder Safety Course. |

FEEDBACK"This guy should deliver all our training courses; no one would even think of dozing off. They would be afraid they would miss something extremely important."
